STEP 1.
Use a pencil and a ruler to draw a straight line, then draw an oval for the head overlapping a circle for the body of your cartoon bear.

STEP 2.
Erase your center line, and the parts fo the circles that overlap. Now add two half circles for the ears, and then draw guide lines for the arms and legs.

STEP 3.
Draw the arms and legs around the guide lines. Remember to draw arms from the should down, make a bump for the thumb and go around in a half circle for the paw. Draw a circle for the nose of your cartoon bear.

Erase your line guides. Draw two circles for the eyes and a half circle for the center of the paws. You can use coins to help you draw the circles for the eyes.

  STEP 5.
Draw two circles for the pupil of the eyes. Make a half circle for the smile. Draw dots to represent the pads of the toes. Make three lines curving down for the bear claws, as shown.
