If I was to see you,
It would be at the end of time,

For you are the Sun,
And I am the moon,
Although we know of each other,
Never will I see you,

For you are the Sun
The Center of the Universe,
I am the moon, sitting silently,

They worship you,
Lay flowers at your feet,
Ask you to shine on them,
With the power of your light.

I am the moon, giving comfort to the weak,
The lonely look to me,
They ask me,
To please hear their dreams,

You make their worlds revolve,
The giver of life and song,
They say they would die without you
You are part of their life,

For you are the Sun,
And I am the moon,
Although we know of each other,

Never will I see you.

You ask and beg for our paths to cross,

Like A Solar eclipse,
That comes once
Every  thousand years,

I stepped out of the shadows,
Because I felt your sadness and saw your tears,

The moon is shining quietly,
Telling the Sun,
That I am here,

I never thought that it would be this way,
Your eyes are blinded by your own light,
You are intoxicated by the thousands,
Who treat you like a Demi-God,

Beautiful Sun you create the material,
Once upon a time your soul used to know,
The light upon which love grows,

As the moon I live and breathe in the ethereal,

I blame Venus for her cruel hoax,
As she was clever and she tricked me,
Goddess of Beauty and Love,
She put so much pain in my heart,

As love was what she gifted me,

Even though I walk this earth
She knows that when I sleep,

My duty to work for the gods has begun,
Giving comfort to the lonely,
And to light the way for those
Who have been forgotten
And lost in the dark.,

I become the Moon once again,

A prisoner in the night sky,
Where no one can reach me,

Not even the Sun.
